The Pangi Valley is a remote & isolated region of Himachal Pradesh. Less populated & less commercialized Pangi valley is a road to heaven. Sach Pass at the height of 4142Mtrs is one of the most difficult mountain passes in Indian Himalayas. The pass will be shut during the winters and open to vehicular traffic only after the end of June. Spiti is the cold desert mountain valley located in the northern part of Indian Himalayas, its also called “The Middle Land” because Spiti valley is between India & Tibet. Spiti valley is famous for its Monasteries, Buddhist Culture, Breathtaking views of Trans Himalayas & rugged road makes Spiti valley is a must-do place for adventure motorcycle travelers.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 - Arrive at Chandigarh
Upon arrival, you will be picked up from Chandigarh Airport where you will meet our crew members and from there we will drive to our hotel which is 30Mins from Airport.
After checking in to the hotel, we will meet again in the evening for the Briefing session and followed by a welcome dinner with some amazing Indian Cuisine.

Day 2 - Chandigarh to Dharmashala
After breakfast we will start our first day of Motorcycle Tour to the Himalayas, we will take our first stop at Roopnagar where we will take a diversion towards the foothills of Himalayas via Ghanauli and then we enter Bhakra – Nangal region. After Pragpur we start ascending towards district Kangra, by early evening we will reach Dharmashala.
Day 3 - Dharmashala to Chamba

Today we start our riding towards Chamba, Chamba is such a charm place. Perhaps one of the most beautiful and remote valleys in Himachal Pradesh. The road from Dharmashala to Chamba is always a pleasure to ride for those who love mountains and peace.
Chamba offers great Hindu architectural temples and breathtaking views of Himalayas, by early evening we will be able to reach Chamba.
Day 4 - Chamba to Killar

There we are, today is the most important and difficult terrain that we are doing to ride on, we are going to cross “Sach Pass” at the height of 4142Metres which is also called as “Mother of All Mountain pass” in Indian Himalayan Region.
After breakfast, we will start our Motorcycle tour of Himalayas towards Killar, before that we need to cross Sach pass and numerous water streams and ride in one of the dangerous roads in the world. Yes, you heard it right, Pangi valley in Himachal Pradesh has named as one of the deadliest roads in the world to ride on motorcycles. After crossing Bariagarh village the road will disappear and actual fun begins with hell lot of glacier meltwater streams and slush. With riding for more than 8-10 Hrs we will be able to reach Killar by evening, Killar is a small town nestled in the Pangi valley.
We are going to stay there for a night before we head towards Lahaul valley.
Day 5 - Killar to Keylong

In the morning we will set the Himalayas Motorcycle Tour towards Keylong, Killar to Keylong is about 85 Miles. While riding we will witness some of the beautiful villages of Himachal Pradesh, also we will crossing multiple water streams in between.
In between, we will visit Mrikula Temple at Udaipur and ride further down towards Keylong.
Day 6 - Rest day in Keylong

After conquering mighty Sach pass & Pangi Valley, we will enjoy our first rest day of the Himalayan Motorcycle Tour. We can also visit the local monastery in Keylong, Kardang Monastery is located 20kms from Keylong and it is considered as one of the important monasteries in Lahaul valley, it has a history of 900 years. Also, we will visit the Shashur monastery which is also closely located near Keylong. The rest of the day will be pretty relaxed and getting prep for upcoming rides.
Day 7 - Keylong to Kaza(Spiti Valley)

Its gonna be one of the treacherous roads on our Himalayas Motorcycle Tour, the journey from Keylong to Kaza will remain in your memories for long. We will start our ride early in the morning after a quick breakfast; roads are good till we reach Gramphu, after taking a diversion from Gramphu the road will disappear and the real fun begins with gushing water streams and off-road. En route, we will cross “Kunzum Pass” at the height of 4590Mtrs. Generally, it will take 10-12 hours of journey from Keylong to Kaza, so we may reach Kaza by late evening. Its gonna be the toughest and longest day.
Day 8 - Explore Kaza

After breakfast, we will set our day to explore Kaza, which is the headquarters of Spiti valley. Kaza is a small town surrounded by mighty Himalayan ranges. In the fist we will visit “Key Monastery”, it is the biggest monastery in the entire Spiti valley, it is founded in the 11th century. After that we will continue our ride towards Kibber village, it is located at the height of 4270Mtrs and it is famous for wildlife spotting during winters. Then we head back towards the same road and visit Langza village, it has a huge statue of Buddha.
Before we reach Kaza we will also visit two more remote villages which are Komic & Hikim. Komic village is situated at the height of 4587Mtrs and it is the highest village in the world connected with Motorable road. Then we will visit Hikkim, Hikkim is situated at the height of 4400Mtrs and it has the Highest Post Office In the world, where you can send postcards to your loved ones. By early evening we will reach back to Kaza and enjoy the rest of the day.
Day 9 - Kaza to Nako

After exploring amazing Kaza, we will start our Himalayas Motorcycle Journey towards Nako village. At first, we will visit Dhankar Monastery, it is situated at the height of 3894Mtrs and it has a history of 1000 Years. After descending from Dhankar village we will continue our ride towards Gue Monastery, which has India’s only natural Mummy. Believed to over more than 500 years, this mummy belongs to Sangha Tenzin a Buddhist monk. Gue village is also closely located at Indo-Tibet Border. After that, we will ride towards Nako village, which is located at the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh at the height of 3662 Mtrs.
Day 10 - Nako to Chitkul

After the breakfast we will start our journey towards Chitkul Village, Chitkul is a village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is also called “The Last Indian Village” before the Indo-Tibet border. Before reaching Chitkul we will start descending from Nako valley towards Pooh & Spello. Where we enter Kinnaur district, the roads are very treacherous and narrow till Chitkul. Chitkul is located at the height of 3450 Mtrs and famous for Apple orchids. By evening we will be able to reach Chitkul.
Day 11 - Chitkul to Sarahan

After exploring “Chitkul – The last Indian village” we start again descending from Sangla valley towards Kinnar valley and take left towards Sarahan, Sarahan is a remote village in Himachal Pradesh. It is also called as Gateway to Kinnaur valley. The village is surrounded by natural & scenic beauty, the journey towards Sarahan is too steep and narrow roads. There is also a famous Hindu temple “ Bhimakali”, upon arrival at Sarahan we will visit the temple.
Day 12 - Sarahan to Hatu Peak

Soon after the breakfast, we will start our journey towards Hatu Peak, Hatu peak is the second highest peak in Shimla district at the elevation of 3400 Mtrs. After descending from Sarahan we will enter Shimla district. Hatu peak is full of dense forests, mountains and pine trees. Reaching the top of the Hatu peak is very steep and narrow, we need to navigate our Royal Enfield motorcycles on a single track/horse track road to reach the top. By early evening we will be able to reach the Hatu peak.
Day 13 - Hatu Peak to Chandigarh

Last day of our Himalayas Motorcycle Tour, we will bid goodbye to the Himalayas and start riding towards foothills. This will be a little longer day as expected, because we will be riding through tourist places and we expect a lot of traffic in between, so it may take a little longer. After riding for about 6-8 hours we will reach the place where we started our “Pangi & Spiti Valley” tour.
Day 14 - Departure from Chandigarh
After breakfast, you will proceed towards your destinations, where we drop you to the airport and bid goodbye to this wonderful 14 days Royal Enfield Tour in the Himalayas.
