Ladakh valley is cut off by road from November till May of every year due to harsh winters, the road to Leh is open only for 5-6 months. Hidden behind this harsh and forbidding façade are an ancient civilization and captivating people. The best time to visit Ladakh is from May till September, it’s a summer season in Ladakh. This tour is suitable for those who struggle to get long holidays from work and still need to explore Leh Ladakh, one can explore major attractions in Leh on this 6 days Road trip to Leh. In Ladakh, you never know what surprise nature has in store for you. Pangong Lake, situated at a height of almost 4,350m, is the world’s highest saltwater lake. Pangong Lake, one of the most famous lakes in Leh Ladakh, derives its name from the Tibetan word, “Pangong Tso”, which means “high grassland lake”. The major attraction of Nubra is the highest motorable road Khardungla pass (18,380ft.) majestic peaks and glaciers enchanting valleys and villages, apart from Pangong Lake and Nubra valley you will also be exploring some of the oldest Monasteries in Leh Ladakh.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrival at Leh (No Ride)

Manali Stay with Motorcycle Escapades

Upon arrival at Leh airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) you will be picked up from the airport and checked in to the hotel. Since Leh is located at the height of 3500Mtrs ASL, it is very important for each one of you to have enough rest to get acclimatise for upcoming days. Evening our tour leader will meet you for a briefing session followed by dinner.

Day 2 - Leh to Nubra Valley

Manali Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will start our 2nd day of the Leh Ladakh Road trip towards Nubra Valley. Nubra valley is situated at the height of 3000Mtrs ASL and it’s the coldest desert in the entire Himalayas. We will cross Khardungla Mountain pass, which is also the world’s highest motorable road in the world at the height of 5300Mtrs ASL. We will also visit Diskit monastery and Sand dunes in the evening.

Day 3 - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Soon after breakfast, we will start our journey towards Pangong Tso Lake, before that we will cross multiple check posts where we need to submit our restricted area permits and inner line permits. By early evening we will reach Spangmik village which is at the banks of Pangong Tso Lake. We will be staying at tented accommodation today. Pangong Lake is located at the height of 4225Mtrs ASL.

Day 4 - Pangong Lake to Leh

We will leave Pangong Lake after breakfast and head towards Leh, Post that we will start ascending towards Changla Pass, which is the 3rd Highest Motorable Road at the height of 5300Mtrs ASL, we will spend some time and then starts to descend towards Leh. By early evening we will reach Leh.

Day 5 - Leh local sightseeing

After breakfast we will start exploring Leh local sightseeing, we will visit Pathar Sahab Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, Indus & Zanskar confluence and Shanthi Stupa. We will get back to Leh by evening, and rest of the day you can spend time by yourself by spending time in Leh local market for shopping & souvenirs.

Day 6 - Departure from Leh

After breakfast you will be dropped to Leh Airport towards your onward journey.

  • All your international and Domestic flight tickets.

  • Visa charges.

  • Medical or travel insurance.

  • Personal Damages/accidental damages cost to the motorcycle is not included (Client has to pay for any damages that happened during the tour)

  • Alcohol, tips, room service or anything which is not mentioned in the above inclusions.

  • Lunch or any other meals which are not mentioned in the inclusions.

  • The cost of riding gears like Jackets, Boots, Riding Pants etc is not included.

  • Any extra cost arising due to weather conditions, local disturbance, etc, the client has to pay the cost of extra days on the spot.

  • Sightseeing entrance fees & Parking fees if any.

  • GST @5% is not included.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation is done before 30 days – 25% of the package cost will be deducted.

  • Cancellation is done 29 to 15 days – 50% of the package cost will be deducted,

  • Cancellation is done before 14 to 7 days - 75% of the package cost will be deducted.

  • Cancellation done 7 days before the trip starts – Zero refund.
